    This module aims to provide you with the ideas and confidence to start to deliver an outdoor classroom at your primary or secondary school.

  • How long will it take?

    The learning is approximately 30 minutes. In addition there is also reflection and thinking time, quizzes and resources for you to work through.

  • Before you begin.

    We have provided you with an action plan template (in your welcome email and available for download at the start of the module), so you can note down your thoughts and ideas, and take your learning back to your setting.

Sally Ward

Sally is passionate about the great outdoor; sharing it, playing in it, discovering it and protecting it. Sally is a Qualified Teacher with a degree in Adventure Education and Outdoor Facilitation, she has worked in both schools and outdoor education centres for over 20 years. She has a multitude of national governing body awards in sports such as; climbing, canoeing, sailing and mountain biking and also holds the Accredited Practitioner Award for the Institute for Outdoor Learning. She believes every child has a right to access the natural world, to inspire, educate and empower them to respect and protect it and improve their own well-being.
