    North Yorkshire Sport and their partners created this resource whilst delivering a project which aimed to support autistic children and young people to access and better participate in activities. The resource supports activity providers who want to know more about how they can best support autistic people.

    If you want to learn more about how you can make small changes to your offer and be more welcoming to autistic children and young people, then yes! Although the pack is aimed at children and young people, much of the content is relevant to supporting autistic adults as well.

  • What's included in the resource pack?

    The resource pack explores autism and neurodiversity. It runs through key points for activity providers including top tips on supporting autistic people to access and better participate in activities. It talks about the relationship between autism and physical activity. It provides local contacts, and signposts to training opportunities and other resources.
